The Farm-to-Yarn Shop

About The Shop:
It opened at the beginning of March 2026 and new items continue to be added as we grow. The shop showcases fibre products created from the wool and mohair gathered from our Romney, Corriedale, and CVM/Romeldale sheep and Angora goats raised here at the ranch.
Our specialty is all-natural colours. While we have a variety of dyed colours, most of our yarn and fibre is undyed. There are 19 original breed-specific wool and wool-mohair blend yarns in 6 yarn weights from which to choose, ranging from light fingering to bulky. Our fibre selection includes batts, rolags, breed-specific roving (natural and hand dyed) and mohair locks.
In the shop, the yarn can be experienced a number of ways:

The Wall of Yarn: Often a twisted hank of yarn will look and feel different when it is opened up. To experience how each yarn will feel as it is worked in a project, the Wall of Yarn offers open and washed sample hanks of each yarn to handle.

A Table Full o' Swatches: We use swatches for much more than just a gauge check. In the middle of the shop there's a long table laden with swatches to jump into. The texture, drape, thickness, and elasticity can be felt through each sample. Every yarn in every colour is knitted up into a large swatch, just waiting to be held. Hold two or more together and in different order, and the swatches make decision making for colour choices and combinations a breeze.

Knitted, Crocheted, Woven, and Felted Samples: We are here to add to your inspiration and assist you in all your fibre endeavours! There are sweaters, scarves, shawls, softies, a blanket and a puppet on display throughout the store and available in kit form. All kits are customizable to suit colour combinations and/or size preferences.
In need of notions and supplies? We have those too: stitch markers, darning needles, crochet hooks, felting supplies, straight, circular, double-pointed, cable needles, and more!
